Cubic Begins Delivery of Updated M3X Networking Products; Mike Barthlow Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 9, 2020 — Cubic’s (NYSE: CUB) mission solutions unit began shipping new ruggedized modules comprised of network, computing and power systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The updated M3X platform has a modular design for interconnectivity, a dust- and water-resistant case and other features designed for tactical users, the company said April 2. The offering uses Intel‘s (Nasdaq: INTC) Xeon processor and Cisco Systems‘ (Nasdaq: CSCO) networking, storage and battery backup power management products.

Mike Barthlow, senior vice president and general manager of rugged internet of things at Cubic Mission Solutions, said the company has worked with clients to increase compute performance and power capacity of its M3X product line.
