TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 14, 2020 — General Atomics has completed installation of a CAE-made (NYSE: CAE) training system for MQ-9 remotely piloted aircraft operators, ExecutiveBiz reported April 2.

The Predator Mission Trainer is now at the North Dakota-based Flight Test and Training Center, run by General Atomics’ aeronautical systems business, and is built to help users operate the RPA through simulation, CAE said April 1.

GA-ASI is scheduled to receive PMT at its Gray Butte Flight Operations Facility in California later this spring.

Todd Probert, president of CAE’s defense and security group, said the system expands the training syllabus GA-ASI uses to train customer aircrews and instructors.
