SAIC Partners With Nonprofit Sector to Further Support for Military Vets; Nazzic Keene Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 9, 2020 — Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) collaborated with several nonprofit organizations during 2019 to increase its philanthropic support to military personnel, veterans and their family members, ExecutiveBiz reported Dec. 23.

SAIC said Dec. 20 it granted $50K in scholarships to the Center for Cyber Safety and Education to train former service members and worked with the Building Homes for Heroes organization to build a home for a veteran who had served in the military for 22 years.

The company added its employees participated in events hosted by Operation Homefront, Wave Warriors Surf Camp and the Washington-Baltimore arm of the United Service Organizations.
