Virginia Contracting Activity Kicks Off $990M DIA DORE2 Contract Bids

The Virginia Contracting Activity has finalized a request for proposals for a potential $990M multiple-award Defense Intelligence Agency contract vehicle with a five-year ordering period for data collection and management support services.

The final RFP notice posted Sunday on Beta.Sam.gov indicates a Jan. 17 offer submission deadline for vendors interested in pursuing the Data Science, Operations, Requirements, Exploitation and Engineering program.

DORE2 has a minimum guarantee of 10K and various support areas such collection concept development; outreach and innovation; engineering and prototyping; and internet of things, social media and open source support.

According to Bloomberg Government report, DIA competed the predecessor contract in 2014 and awarded positions to Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), CACI International (NYSE: CACI), L-3 Data Tactics Corp. — now part of L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) and Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR) MDA Information Systems business.
