TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 19, 2019 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) chose an Expanse-built security monitoring platform to help increase visibility into the former’s defense supply chain, ExecutiveBiz reported Nov. 6.

The Expanse Link technology is designed to help global organizations monitor a supplier's web-based assets on premises or in cloud computing environments for potential network traffic risks, the company said Nov. 5.

Matt Kraning co-founder and chief technology officer of Expanse, said the company offers a “global internet perspective by continuously tracking all publicly routable assets, services and their configuration details for organizations’ traditional infrastructure.”

“We have identified Expanse Link as part of a holistic solution for this critical need,” said Mike Gordon, chief information security officer at Lockheed, referring to the cyber risk the country's defense industrial base faces.
