Hilary Hageman, a veteran business and legal professional, has been named senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Cubic (NYSE: CUB).
She will directly report to Bradley Feldmann, chairman, president and CEO of Cubic and a previous Wash100 awardee, and succeed the retiring Jim Edwards, who will serve as executive adviser through June 2020, the company said Monday.
Hageman will oversee the company’s legal department, contracts, ethics, security and global trade compliance efforts.
“Hilary brings experience in corporate law on a global scale, as well as deep industry expertise in government and commercial contracting and M&A to her role at Cubic,” Feldmann said.
Hageman previously worked at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) as SVP and deputy general counsel. She has held senior legal counsel positions at the Department of Defense, intelligence community and CACI International (NYSE: CACI).
