GAO Issues RFI on IT Modernization Evaluation Support Work

Jeff Brody

The Government Accountability Office has started to seek information on vendors that could help the agency assess its enterprise information technology needs and come up with a strategic plan to facilitate its IT modernization effort.

A request for information notice posted Thursday says GAO plans to award a one-year acquisition contract for IT platforms and services, which will be used by the agency to develop an IT modernization roadmap.

The contract will focus on three IT priorities: enterprise IT strategy, talent management and enterprise content management.

Responses to the RFI are due Oct. 10.
