Michael Hoskin, a retired Army brigadier general, has joined management consulting services firm Guidehouse as a director and senior adviser to the defense sector.
Hoskin’s “strategic leadership and extensive expertise are tremendous assets to our industry and government clients,” Guidehouse CEO and 2019 Wash100 winner Scott McIntyre said in a statement published Tuesday.
Jack Johnson, defense sector leader at Guidehouse, said Hoskin will help devise strategies for customers as they advance modernization and readiness in support of national security priorities.
Hoskin brings to the company his experience in acquisition reform, contracting and strategic sourcing. His military career included time as director of contracting at the Army Corps of Engineers, commissioner of congressional 809 acquisition reform panel and military deputy to the deputy assistant secretary of the Army for procurement.
