Northrop CEO Kathy Warden to Add Chairman Role

Kathy Warden

Kathy Warden, president and CEO of Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), will assume additional duties as chairman of the company, effective Aug. 1.

She will succeed Wes Bush, who will retire from Northrop on July 31 after serving in the position since 2011, the company said Tuesday.

Warden, a 2019 Wash100 winner, assumed the president and CEO roles in January. She previously served as president and chief operating officer with oversight of the company’s four operating sectors and enterprise services organization.

Donald Felsinger, a member of Northrop’s board since 2007, will continue to serve as the defense contractor’s lead independent director.
