ManTech Sponsors Informative Workshop to Mentor Small Businesses; Kevin Phillips Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 9, 2019 — ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT), a mentor company in the Department of Defense's Mentor-Protege Program, which aims to provide guidance to small businesses in the defense sector and connect them with larger contractors, recently sponsored an informative workshop in Chantilly, Va., to build on the program's efforts, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

Among the workshop’s speakers and panelists were ManTech's Tracy Durkin, executive director of security for the mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group; Scott Jackson, executive director and solutions architect; Tim Schaad, executive director of CyberRange and Advanced CyberRange Environment; Yvonne Vervaet, senior vice president of growth and capabilities; and Jim Webster, vice president and chief information security officer, ManTech said Wednesday.

"In order to support the national security requirement, we absolutely, absolutely want to prime the right talent… And we absolutely need to get them in faster," Kevin Phillips, president and CEO of ManTech and a 2019 Wash100 awardee, said in his opening remarks.
