Six companies have won spots on a potential five-year, $249M U.S. Navy contract to construct and refurbish government facilities in six states.

The multiple-award contract includes one option period and covers a range of design-build services and related equipment, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The Navy received 43 bids for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $30K in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.

The service branch will award $5K to each company to meet minimum requirements and allocate Navy and Marine Corps funds for future task orders.

Contractors will perform 80 percent of work in California and the rest in Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico through June 2024.

The awardees are:

  • Athna and CDM joint venture
  • Durable Good-Men JV
  • Fed Con-VC JV
  • Gideon Contracting
  • Speedway Orion JV
  • Teehee Engineering
