TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 7, 2019 — Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR) posted more than $95M in contracts from public sector customers — the U.S. Air Force, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and U.S. Special Operations Command — for Earth intelligence services, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Monday the contracts, which were awarded in the first quarter, cover the delivery of automated intelligence and machine learning capabilities to the Air Force, geospatial analysis services to USSOCOM as well as change detection and land classification technology to NGA in support of U.S. national security.

“Now that the company is operating as one Maxar, it offers an unrivaled portfolio of solutions that include spacecraft manufacturing and robotics, electro-optical and radar satellite imagery, industry-leading AI and geospatial machine learning capabilities,” said Tony Frazier, executive vice president of global field operations at Maxar and a 2019 Wash100 awardee.

“All of these capabilities are built on a commercial foundation that enables us to rapidly address the needs of the U.S. government and other global defense and intelligence customers,” he added.
