TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 31, 2019 — Cubic‘s (NYSE: CUB) mission solutions business developed a compact, multifunction gateway module for cellular and land mobile radios with capability for unicast and multicast voice communications and direct power-over-ethernet, ExecutiveBiz reported May 22.

The company said May 21 the man-portable M3-SE-MFGW module, available as part of the M3-SE product family offered by Cubic subsidiary DTECH Labs, utilizes Vocality Gateway Suite software and works to support as many as eight radio networks.

“Cubic’s addition of the multifunction gateway expands the capabilities of our current LMR modules with the added flexibility of routing and cellular network functions,” said Mike Barthlow, senior vice president and general manager of rugged IoT solutions at Cubic Mission Solutions.
