Kratos Reports $65M in Additional Space, Satcom Program Pipeline; Phil Carrai Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 7, 2018 — Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) will work on several space and satellite communications programs with U.S. and other defense customers via an estimated $65M in new contract wins, options and renewals, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Dec. 31 it will supply products and services in support of U.S. space, satcom and national security operations, including in the areas of cloud-enabled architecture, satellite command and control and signal monitoring.

“The space sector is experiencing a technology renaissance, and much of that advancement is occurring in the ground segment solutions that Kratos specializes in: those which assure the availability, reliability, security and operational goals of these missions,” noted Phil Carrai, president of the space, cybersecurity and training business at Kratos.
