TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 20, 2018 — Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has unveiled a cloud-based virtual laboratory environment that it designed to help accelerate federal agencies’ efforts to develop software applications, ExecutiveBiz reported Oct. 23.

The company said Oct. 23 the SAIC Innovation Factory will utilize its own technology and Red Hat‘s (NYSE: RHT) OpenShift platform as well as provide DevSecOps teams to support customers’ information technology modernization projects.

Charles Onstott, senior vice president and chief technology officer at SAIC, said the virtual lab will work to enable users to explore artificial intelligence, blockchain, augmented and virtual reality, the internet of things and other technologies.
