The company said Oct. 31 it will invest in programs for students and its employees, targeting more than 2K individuals over the next five years, in line with the White House’s Pledge to America’s Workers.

“We live in an uncertain and evolving world that is becoming more digital and more connected at ever-increasing speeds, and we need a skilled workforce equipped to tackle the corresponding challenges,” noted Roger Krone, chairman and CEO of Leidos and a five-time Wash100 awardee.

He added a “strong” workforce development strategy would position the U.S. and Leidos well in the digital economy.
