HPE’s Spaceborne Computer to Provide HPC Support for Space Research

TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 5, 2018 — Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) will provide high-performance computing services to astronauts at the International Space Station using its Spaceborne Computer, which has completed a yearlong evaluation of its operation in space conditions, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday the supercomputer will work to enable in-space data analyses and other compute-intensive research and experiments without the aid of resources on Earth with the goal to advance space exploration.
