Accenture Federal Services’ Mary Legere Receives ‘Gold’ AFCEA Award for Cyber Leadership

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 11, 2018 — Mary Legere, a managing director at Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal services business and a retired U.S. Army officer, has received recognition for her leadership, insight and skills in cyber intelligence with the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association’s Saint Isidore Army Cyber Award, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday Legere, who most recently held the rank of lieutenant general and served as a senior Army intelligence officer, was presented the “Gold Level Medallion” by Army Cyber Command Leader Lt. Gen. Stephen Fogarty and AFCEA International CEO Robert Shea due to the length of her service and level of contribution to the Army cyber mission.
