NewSpring’s holding company has expanded its reach in the federal services market through its purchase of The Sentinel Company for an undisclosed amount.

NewSpring Holdings said Thursday the acquisition led to the creation of its fourth government services platform, which will be led by Sentinel CEO Andy Maner.

Maner said the acquisition will allow the two companies to build their businesses in the middle-market segment in the federal sector.

He added that he gained a partner in business investments and operational leadership through the agreement.

Washington, D.C.-based Sentinel offers strategic consulting, operational support and technology services to a range of customers that includes the Defense Department and public and private sector entities for border security, national security and federal health.

Radnor, Pa.-based NewSpring Holdings provides growth opportunities to emerging companies through acquisitions and organic methodologies.
