Gene Morabito Named President of Chenega Security Int’l Arm; Timothy Lamb Quoted

Gene Morabito

Gene Morabito, a retired Air Force Security Forces lieutenant colonel and former president of Chenega‘s Infinity subsidiary, has been appointed president of the Alaska native corporation’s security international subsidiary.

The company said Morabito will lead the expansion of its physical and electronic security systems segment within the federal government sector in his new position.

He is an ASIS International certified physical security and protection professional.

Timothy Lamb, president of Chenega’s security strategic business unit, said Morabito’s appointment is part of the company’s strategy to maintain its position as a small business security support services provider.

Morabito previously held senior leadership roles at Akal Security, Coastal International Security and Honeywell’s (NYSE: HON) technology solutions business.

Chenega Security International is one of the eight companies of Chenega’s security strategic business unit in Chantilly, Va., and is a certified small disadvantaged business under the Small Business Administration‘s 8(a) program.
