BAE to Deliver Bradley Fighting Vehicle Modules to Army Under $91M IDIQ

BAE Systems’ land and armaments unit has secured a five-year, $91.2M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide eight logic module items designed for Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

DLA will obligate fiscal 2018 through 2023 defense working capital funds for the hybrid cost-reimbursement contract that tasks BAE to supply the programmable controllers in support of U.S. Army missions, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Work under the sole-sourced contract will take place in Alabama and California through July 30, 2024.

Recent versions of the BFV feature digitized electronics to support the situational awareness, network connectivity and communication operations of the Army’s Armored Brigade Combat Team.

BAE has provided BFV manufacturing and systems integration services to the military for over 30 years.
