Unisys Lands $242M Virginia IT Contract for Storage, Server & Data Center Services


TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 24, 2018 — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) will work with the Virginia Information Technologies Agency on the delivery of storage, server and data center services under a potential $242.4M contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

VITA said Wednesday the contract awarded to Unisys is part of the state’s multisupplier approach to procure information technology services — including mainframe, messaging and managed security services — in support of its IT infrastructure modernization efforts.
