Spectrum Healthcare Resources Wins $243M DHA Tricare Program Support Contract

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has won a potential five-year, $242.8M contract to provide facilities and deploy personnel to support Tricare Prime beneficiaries at military outpatient clinics in Virginia.

The Defense Department said Friday the company will help DHA deliver health care services at the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital Family Health Centers of Fairfax and Dumfries that serve nearly 51K participants under the agency-managed Tricare program.

DHA received three offers for the firm-fixed-price contract, which covers a one-year task order for facility start-up and transfer services and four one-year options for healthcare operations support.

The agency will obligate $19.4M in fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
