TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 7, 2018 — Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and the U.S. Navy have entered into a partnership for a pilot program that aims to increase access to medical services among military personnel, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The lab said Thursday it will provide systems integration, data analysis and capability assessment services in support of the Connected Corpsmen in the Community program, which seeks to boost the role of Navy hospital corpsmen and update healthcare delivery models using telemedicine technologies.

The pilot effort was held at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Pensacola, Florida.
