Northrop Develops Avionics Software for Army UH-60V Black Hawk Limited User Test

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 16, 2018 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has unveiled an avionics software that it developed as part of a contract awarded in 2014 for an upgraded version of the U.S. Army’s UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter that is set to undergo limited user testing, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday it has delivered the Integrated Avionics Suite for the UH-60V variant and installed a digital cockpit software build as required for the helicopter LUT, which will work to evaluate the platform’s operational readiness and compatibility with the UH-60M Pilot-Vehicle Interface.
