Lockheed Seeks Cyber Capabilities to Reinforce Aircraft Products, Processes Via Guardtime Federal Alliance

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 11, 2018 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has expanded its alliance with Guardtime Federal to equip the Fort Worth, Texas-based aerospace and defense contractor’s aircraft systems and processes with cyber and data integrity measures as part of efforts to address the threat of data manipulation, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The integration is intended to provide a linked digital data attribution system for the information supply chain and expedite the deployment of new capabilities to support missions amid threats in the cyber domain, Lockheed said Monday.

The deal builds on the companies’ specialized mission support testing project in 2015 and integration systems support contract on software development and supply chain risk management in 2017.
