Saima Shaukat, a 13-year Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) executive, has been appointed chief revenue officer at cloud-based insurance platforms provider TechCanary.
Shaukat will oversee the development of go-to-market strategies for the company’s insurance platform and will bring to her role nearly two decades of enterprise software experience, TechCanary said Tuesday.
Reid Holzworth, TechCanary CEO and co-founder, said Shaukat’s skills in sales strategy, leadership and Salesforce experience and financial services knowledge will support the company’s growth efforts.
Shaukat most recently served as Salesforce’s general manager and vice president of commercial sales with a focus on the financial services market in Canada.
She previously worked at Infotriever as business development manager and as a federal account executive at Silanis Technology.
