Raytheon to Build $100M Future Radar Production Facility in Mississippi


TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 4, 2018 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) is investing $100 million to build a radar production facility in Mississippi that will build, test and integrate S-band radars for programs such as the U.S. Navy’s AN/SPY-6 Air and Missile Defense Radar, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday the future 50,000-square-foot Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified building at its Forest, Miss.-based Consolidated Manufacturing Center will work to increase its product portfolio and generate jobs over five years.
