BAE Unit Gets $348M Contract for Bradley Vehicle Production, Component Supply

BAE Systems‘ land and armaments business has secured a one-year, $347.9 million contract to manufacture up to 473 Bradley M2A4 and M7A4 fighting vehicles for the U.S. Army.

The fixed-price-incentive-fee contract also covers the provision of related spares from an authorized list of stocks and legacy component repair packages based on the M2A3, M7A3 and Operation Desert Storm-Situational Awareness vehicles, the Defense Department said Thursday.

The Army Contracting Command received one bid via the internet and the service branch obligated $132.2 million in fiscal 2017 and 2018 “other” procurement funds at the time of award.
