TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 29, 2018 — Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) has received a number of contracts worth approximately $55 million combined to support U.S. and allied space missions and commercial satellite communications for national security, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday it will deliver products and services across a variety of applications such as cloud-optimized architectures, satellite command and control and signals monitoring.

“In an increasingly crowded and contested environment, it is becoming increasingly clear that the ability to defend and operate in space will depend more and more upon the ability to manage from the ground,” said Phil Carrai, president of Kratos’ space, cybersecurity and training business.
