Johns Hopkins APL to Support Social Modeling Assessment for DARPA’s Ground Truth Program


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 21, 2018 — Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory has won a $3.7 million contract to help the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency study social science modeling approaches in order to understand complex social systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

APL said Wednesday it has partnered with JHU Whiting School of Engineering, Cornell University, University of Hawaii and Graphika to build multiple social simulations under the Ground Truth Program, which will run through more than two years.
