Accenture Federal Services Recognized for National Guard, Reserve Employee Support

TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 18, 2018 — Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) federal services unit has been named with the “Above and Beyond” award by a Defense Department support group for providing non-mandated benefits to employees who also serve in the National Guard and Reserve, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Mark Hild, senior manager at Accenture Federal Services, received the award from the Maryland Committee for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve at an event held Saturday in Annapolis, Md.

ESGR noted that AFS is one of the U.S. businesses that provide their Guard and Reserve employees with compensation and health care benefits that are beyond requirements in the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.
