TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 16, 2018 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) will work to demonstrate to the U.S. Army a mobile intelligence platform designed to enable data gathering and access for deployed warfighters, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday the FoXTEN demonstration is part of an Army contract that seeks to identify potential components of the updated Distributed Common Ground System in support of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations.

Todd Probert, vice president of mission support and modernization for Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services business, said the company’s FoXTEN software features an intuitive interface and open architecture to provide capability for integration of new systems or updates and accommodate only eight hours of training.
