Kratos Inaugurates New UAS Lab in Australia


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 9, 2018 — Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) has unveiled a new facility in Australia to supply its defense customers in the country with target and tactical autonomous drones and range support systems, ExecutiveBiz said Friday.

The company said Thursday the inauguration of the New South Wales office comes after its partner Air Affairs Australia also set up a new laboratory and headquarters in an effort to expand operations.

Kratos President and CEO Eric DeMarco indicated the company has placed approximately $85 million in investments to develop an unmanned aircraft system suite catered to the U.S. and international defense markets.
