Tony Frazier

TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 7, 2018 — Radiant Solutions, a business of Maxar Technologies, will help the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Defense Innovation Unit Experimental launch the 2018 DIUx xView Detection Challenge by providing access to high-resolution satellite images, ExecutiveBiz reported.

The company said the images are aimed to drive the development of machine learning algorithms designed to generate insight and value from imagery in support of national security and humanitarian operations.

“Access to satellite imagery at increasingly high spatial and temporal resolutions, coupled with rapid advances in machine learning algorithms for object detection, has created a disruptive opportunity for NGA and other agency customers to see, understand and anticipate humanitarian and defense activities at a global scale,” said Tony Frazier, president of Radiant Solutions and a 2018 Wash100 inductee.
