Army Vet Ted Harrison Joins TAPE in SVP Role; Louisa Long Jaffe Comments

Ted Harrison

Technical and Project Engineering has appointed Theodore “Ted” Harrison, a retired U.S. Army major general, as senior vice president of the company’s products division.

He will lead the newly established division in efforts to develop training products and service offerings for the government and commercial sectors, TAPE said Friday.

Louisa Long Jaffe, TAPE president and CEO, said Harrison brings acquisition and resource development experience as the company looks to grow its new products business line.

“I am confident the products division will contribute toward TAPE’s support of our military’s readiness and improving learning outcomes for current and future government and commercial clients,” Harrison said.

The 37-year Army veteran previously served on a panel tasked by Congress to recommend strategies to simplify the Defense Department acquisition process.

Before that, he worked at the Pentagon’s Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management as director of operations and commanded the Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama from 2015 to 2017.
