Oshkosh Secures $106M Army Joint Light Tactical Vehicle Production Funds

The U.S. Army has awarded Oshkosh‘s (NYSE: OSK) defense business $106.3 million in contract funds to build 416 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles.

Oshkosh Defense will also use the money to produce 832 installed and packaged kits as part of a modification to a previously awarded contract, the Defense Department said Friday.

Work under the modified contract will occur through March 31, 2019.

JLTVs are designed to help increase crew survivability and protection from blasts when troops perform battlefield missions.
