Lockheed Tapped for Increased Hellfire Missile Production Under $80M Army Deal


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 1, 2018 — A Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) business unit will build on its production of the AGM-114 Hellfire missiles for the U.S. Army under an $80.2 million contract modification, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The Defense Department said Tuesday Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control will be tasked to set up the production line, hire suppliers and procure tools and test equipment to reach the targeted 11,000 Hellfire missiles produced per year.
