Boeing Takes Seat on Singularity University Board After Series B Investment


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 20, 2018 — Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) investment arm and partner WestRiver Group have led the Series B funding round for digital educational program provider Singularity University, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday its HorizonX Ventures unit’s investment aims to facilitate customized education programs for Boeing employees and integrate the company’s technical professionals into SU’s faculty.

Bethany Tate Cornell, vice president for leadership, learning and organization capability at Boeing, will represent the company on the university’s board of directors.
