Army Taps General Dynamics, Leidos for $200M Geospatial Support Contract


Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) One Source business have won a potential five-year, $200 million shared contract to provide technical expertise in support of U.S. Army geospatial programs.

The Defense Department said Monday the hybrid contract includes work to help the service branch coordinate, integrate and synchronize geospatial data standards and requirements.

Other tasks include the provision of direct geospatial support to warfighters and the development of geospatial enterprise systems for the Army, DoD and external organizations.

Five bids were submitted to the Army Corps of Engineers for the contract via an online-based solicitation.

The Pentagon expects the two contractors to complete work by Feb. 11, 2023.
