Orbital ATK-Built Multimission Satellite Preps for Launch

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 12, 2018 — The Orbital ATK-built (NYSE: OA) GovSat-1 multimission satellite has been shipped to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in preparation for its launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at the end of the month, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

GovSat said Thursday the satellite will work to support a variety of operations and utilize the X-band and military Ka-band frequencies to provide coverage to customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
