General Atomics Unit Gets Air Force Order for Reaper Software Development Work


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 30, 2018 — An affiliate of General Atomics will develop, deliver and sustain software for the Air Force Special Operations Command’s and Air Combat Command’s MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle under a potential $49.3 million task order, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday the sole-source U.S. Air Force award to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. covers work through January 2020 in Poway, California.
