DMEA Picks 3 to Offer Engineering Services Under $800M ATSP4 Small Business Contract Vehicle

The Defense Microelectronics Activity has awarded three companies positions on a potential 10-year, $800 million contract vehicle to provide engineering services to help the agency develop technology insertions and applications in support of the Defense Department’s requirements.

The award is for the small business track of the Advanced Technology Support Program IV indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, DoD said Friday.

RF Integration, Teledevices and a joint venture of Alpha Research & Technology, Desert Microelectronics Associates and MicroNet Solutions will compete for task orders to address issues with electronics software and hardware under the ATSP4 SB contract’s 10-year ordering period.

DMEA received 11 proposals for the multiple-award contract that also includes support for foreign military sales-related work.

The award came nearly two years after DMEA selected eight companies for the potential 10-year, $7.2 billion full-and-open portion of ATSP4.
