American Systems Gets USAF Emergency Comms Task Order; Peter Smith Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 29, 2018 — American Systems will support the development and implementation of a cloud-based emergency mass notification system for the U.S. Air Force under a $68.6 million task order via the Network-Centric Solutions-2 network operations and infrastructure solutions contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Jan. 17.

The company said Jan. 15 the enterprise EMNS platform is aimed to generate emergency threat notifications to all Air Force personnel at all installations using BlackBerry AtHoc‘s crisis communications software suite that runs on Amazon Web Services‘ cloud.
