Raytheon Unveils US-Romania Agreement on Potential Patriot Missile System Sale


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 1, 2017 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) is looking to supply the Patriot integrated air and missile defense system for Romania after the country submitted a letter of offer and acceptance for the platform to the U.S. Army, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday the agreement works to open its negotiations with the U.S. government on the potential sale of the Patriot Configuration 3+ system as well as Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement and Guidance Enhanced Missile TBM interceptor missiles to Romania.
