Leidos Gets Navy Contract for Autonomous ASW Ship’s Hull Structure


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 19, 2017 — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will produce the hull structure for a U.S. Navy autonomous ship under a potential $43.5 million contract for the Anti-Submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel program, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday the hull structure will be for the second Sea Hunter unmanned surface vehicle, and Leidos will perform work at sites in California, Florida, Maryland, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Virginia and Washington state through December 2020.
