Cisco Names SVP to Lead Operations, Digital Transformation

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 15, 2017 — Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) has appointed Irving Tan, senior vice president for business operations in Asia Pacific and Japan, to the newly expanded role of SVP for operations and digital transformation, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.

The company said Thursday Tan will work with the sales and engineering teams to lead digital transformation efforts and will succeed Rebecca Jacoby, who is set to retire in January as SVP for operations but remain at Cisco as an adviser through May 2018.
