ViON to Help Build DHS NPPD Data Storage, Disaster Recovery & Analytics Functions


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 20, 2017 — ViON will provide data storage and disaster recovery technology to the Department of Homeland Security‘s National Protection and Programs Directorate under a new agreement, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday the on-premise DataAdapt platform deployment will work to build on the DHS directorate’s analytics capability with increased compute and processing power as well as secure data in a storage structure in efforts to minimize effort involved in data backups.
