Orbital ATK Sets Nov. 11 Launch for 8th NASA Cargo Resupply Mission


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 8, 2017 — Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) has scheduled the liftoff of its eighth cargo resupply mission with NASA on Nov. 11 as part of efforts to continue the delivery of supplies and hardware to astronauts at the International Space Station, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The space agency said Tuesday a company-built updated Antares rocket will launch from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia a Cygnus spacecraft that will carry an estimated 7,400 pounds of cargo to ISS, where it will stay through Dec. 4.
