Orbital ATK, NASA Eye Nov. 10 Liftoff for 8th Cygnus Cargo Resupply Mission


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 3, 2017 — Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) has scheduled a Nov. 10 launch for a Cygnus spacecraft that will carry scientific equipment and supplies to the International Space Station as part of the company’s eighth cargo resupply mission for NASA, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The space agency said Saturday an Orbital ATK Antares rocket will lift off the spacecraft from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia to bring cargo that would enable ISS crew to conduct scientific research in microgravity.
